Meet Paige! She is interning with us for the next several months, and we are so excited to see her back in Jinja! We met her earlier this year when she volunteered for several of our foot-washing/jigger removal clinics. She is such a hard worker with a heart to serve those around her without hesitation. We are so thankful that she chose to return to Uganda to serve alongside our staff and volunteers! You are welcome, Paige!

How she heard about Sole Hope: She heard about Sole Hope through an organization in Jinja that she was volunteering at this spring. Each week, several volunteers came and volunteered for our foot-washing/jigger removal clinics. Paige joined us several times throughout her stay in Jinja, and we absolutely loved having her!
Why she was interested in the Sole Hope internship: Through volunteering at our jigger removal clinics, Paige fell in love with what Sole Hope was doing and the staff that served each week at the clinics. She wanted to learn more about the ins and outs of non-profit work and when approached with the idea of interning at Sole Hope, she thought this would be a great opportunity to stay involved with an organization she so enjoyed working with, while learning throughout the process.
We are so looking forward to all that this fall will bring. Exciting things are on the horizon and we cannot wait to share them with you!
Thank you for posting about Paige. As her mom, I can attest to her hard work. She worked this whole summer long to be able to go back to Uganda and work with Sole Hope. She has not only introduced many to this wonderful ministry but has encouraged quite a few groups to begin cutting out shoes to send to Africa.
I am thankful that she is able to be there and I know God will use these months to grow her and help out Sole Hope.
It’s Paige! Our kids are really enjoying seeing her pictures. Though we do miss her.
